I love this reflection. I did my 1st marathon last year & used the 9 mths of trng before it to take long ‘trng’ walks instead of runs. Nothing to do but observe, pray, and talk with Holy Spirit. I got to the point though where I wondered if I was craving the act itself and after the marathon scaled back cardio for calisthenics, strength trng, & shorter walks. Is it possible to be all about the act of endurance and making that the God?
