Television programming is a perfect example of the lucifer effect. The history of television perversity. It’s the number one child abuser in the world. This is the devil’s hour for sure. Much of my work with protestants has been hindered. Lord have mercy on us all.
Thank you for your courage. I wish more deacons, priests, and bishops had the courage to speak out. I know that the abusers are only a very small percentage of our clergy. And I firmly believe that the overwhelming majority of our clergy are saddened and disgusted to learn of the sinful conduct of their brothers. What really irks me is that diocesan officials and bishops failed to remove the perverts, and by not doing so, enabled their pernicious conduct. It is utterly offensive to us all that some of these offenders and enablers were allowed to become bishops and even cardinals in spite of being known abusers or known to have covred up the crimes of others. They must be removed from office along with the abusers. Nothing less will do. I have written to my own bishop expressing my disappointment with the situation ahd have invited him to respond.
Thank you Father Ian for voicing your stand on this. Integrity is in short supply when you listen to those in authority that speak about these incidents, not just in the Church but in others as well.
Thanks… appreciate the comment
You are so correct about following our conscience. And it is so important to form a good conscience, I am so sick of hearing people say, “I was just doing my job?” Really? Maybe you should get a different job. This seems to be an excuse for people to do just about anything immoral.
Thanks…. it’s a classic excuse
