Homily – Offering Sacrifices for the Dead
Father! Can you please offer a mass for the traveling monestary. Right now we are giving out 18 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to the homeless(on Sundays) and almost everyone wants a blessing with holy water. It really needs to be expanded and more dynamic. Especially please pray for the ability for all thoughts and words to be used for edification.
Very nice homily. I encounter that mode of thinking often… I try to reiterate the two greatest commandments and then follow with the big ten. “Faith is not a feeling” has been a mantra of mine for a long time.
